Our History

Khalid Chaudhry developed a Tim Hortons franchise restaurant in Englewood Ohio in 2005; in 2008 the formation of KC & NC Hospitality took place with the acquisition of Super 8 Motel and a brand new development of another Tim Hortons. After 6 years of successful operation, the company bought Baymont Inn & Suites in 2014. Super 8 was completely renovated in 2010 and Baymont Inn & Suites was renovated & had been transformed into a 100% non-smoking property in 2015.

The hotel group expanded in 2016 with the new ground up development project of Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, and at that time formation of Essence Hotel Group took place. We are proud to say we are planning to expand in upcoming years and our focus will be mainly on mid-scale, upper mid-scale and extended stay hotels in Pacific Northwest region.
